Privacy policy

This page explains in plain language what data appears when you use Wheel Decide, where it lives and who can see it.

In short

What is stored in your browser

• Your list of options and settings (sound, elimination mode) — in localStorage under the site's own keys. They keep everything in place after you reload the page.
• Your cookie notice acknowledgement — also localStorage, so the bar is not shown every time.

This data never leaves the device. You can delete it in your browser settings: “Site data” → find the site → remove. The Reset button on the wheel clears only the list of options.

Cookies, statistics and advertising

The site sets no cookies of its own. When visit statistics are switched on, Yandex Metrica is used — a service provided by Yandex. It writes cookies and anonymous information about the visit: the page address, the referrer, the device type, an approximate city. This is used to understand which sections people read and to improve the site.

• Metrica data is processed by Yandex under its own rules — Yandex privacy policy;
• session recording (Webvisor) is switched off in the counter: it would record the page content, and your list of options is part of it. The other Metrica reports do not include the contents of the list;
• you can block statistics with an ad blocker or by blocking cookies in your browser — the wheel keeps working without limits.

When advertising is enabled, an ad network may set its own cookies and similar identifiers in order to serve ads and count impressions.

• the ad code is loaded from a third-party network and follows that network's own rules;
• personalised advertising can be managed in the ad account settings or through an ad blocker;
• if ads are blocked, the wheel keeps working without limits.

What the site never does

• it does not ask for your name, phone number or email;
• it does not require signing up or signing in;
• it does not send your list of options to a server;
• it does not sell your data or pass it to third parties other than the statistics and advertising services listed above.

External resources

The site's fonts, styles and scripts are served from the same domain, so your browser makes no requests to third-party servers for them. The exceptions are the Yandex Metrica script (mc.yandex.ru) and the ad network code, when either is enabled.

Your rights

Since no personal data is stored on a server, you can withdraw consent or request deletion yourself — by clearing the site data in your browser. If you still have questions, write to koleso-vybora@mail.ru.

Changes

This policy may be updated, for example when a new ad network is connected. The date of the last change is shown at the top of the page.
