Wheel Decide is a simple wheel that picks a random option from a list. It is for the moments when arguing is pointless: which pizza to order, who does the dishes, which topic to take for the next video.
How to use it
- Type the options into the field on the right — one at a time, or several separated by commas.
- Two options are enough to spin. Four to eight works best: the slices stay readable.
- Three ways to spin: the Spin button, the Space key, or scrolling the mouse wheel over the wheel.
- Prefer to do it by hand — drag the wheel and let go, like a real one.
- Elimination mode removes the winner from the list, which is handy when you need to pick several in a row.
Site sections
- Presets — ready-made sets for common cases: food, a movie, a video topic.
- Articles — how to choose when there are many options, and how to settle an argument politely.
- FAQ — the short version of how everything works.
Where the randomness comes from
The winner is determined by the position of the wheel when it stops, and the
spin is driven by the browser's cryptographic random number generator
(crypto.getRandomValues). The result cannot be nudged or
predicted in advance — and we never learn it.
What to know about your data
No sign-up, no accounts, and nothing is sent to a server. Your list of
options and settings are stored in your browser — in
localStorage. Clear the site data and the list is gone.

How much it costs
Free, with no limit on spins. The site is supported by advertising, which covers the domain and hosting. If the ads get in your way, block them — the wheel keeps working.
